Signing to authenticate PDF document, and using passwords to control who can access or modify the PDF document.

The Security module is made up of the following parts:

Sign Document - Sign document is a way of authenticating the contents of a document. A document with a valid signature is guaranteed not to have been changed since being signed. A valid signature has a digital ID issued by a trusted certificate authority. In order to sign documents, a digital ID may be imported or PDFCool Studio can create a self-signed digital ID;

Security Setting - With the Security Setting function of PDFCool Studio, you can control who can access to your documents and what actions they can perform once they have the password. Depending on your needs and the intended audience, you can choose between 128-bit RC4, and 128-bit AES encryption;

Decrypt Document - The Decrypt Documents function of PDFCool Studio can help the user to easily decrypt batch PDF documents. This function also allows the user to reset new passwords to these PDF documents.

Note: The Decrypt Documents function only available to Owners or Creators who have the documents discretion. Please be attention that the action of decrypting unauthorized documents will be regarded as violation the relevant laws.
